vrrp priority
To set the priority level of the device within a Virtual Router Redundancy Protocol (VRRP) group, use the
priority command in interface configuration mode. To remove the priority level of the device, use the no
form of this command.

Syntax Description
Priority of the device within the VRRP group. The
range is from 1 to 254. The default is 100.
level

The priority level is set to the default value of 100.

Usage Guidelines
Use this command to control which device becomes the master virtual router.
Examples
The following example configures the device with a priority of 254:
Device(config-if-vrrp)# priority 254
