To enable VLAN ID-based MAC authentication on a switch, use the mab request format attribute 32 vlan
access-vlan command in global configuration mode. To return to the default setting, use the no form of this
command.
mab request format attribute 32 vlan access-vlan
no mab request format attribute 32 vlan access-vlan
Syntax Description
This command has no arguments or keywords.

Usage Guidelines
Use this command to allow a RADIUS server to authenticate a new user based on the host MAC address and
VLAN.
Use this feature on networks with the Microsoft IAS RADIUS server. The Cisco ACS ignores this command.
