1. Specify distinguishing circuit release from on-hook, noise, and temporary interruption. There are four probable
situations for Tie line release detection:
Called side hangs up first. The circuit is released 92 ms. + specified time after the other party disconnects
the call.
Called side hangs up second. The circuit is released when the specified time has elapsed after the other party
hangs up.
Originating side hangs up first. The circuit is released 92 ms. + specified time after the other party hangs up.
Originating side hangs up second. The circuit is released when the specified time has elapsed after the other
party hangs up.
