Description
This command configures an IP address for the AP.
Syntax
ip-address <ip-address> <subnet-mask> <nexthop-ip-address> <dns-ip-address> <domain-
name>
Parameter
Description
<ip-address>
Assigns an IP address to the AP.
<subnet-mask>
Specifies the subnet mask.
<nexthop-ip-address>
Specifies the gateway IP address.
<dns-ip-address>
Specifies the DNS server IP address.
<domain-name>
Specifies the domain name.
Usage Guidelines
Use this command to assign a static IP address to the AP.
Example
The following example configures an IP address for the AP.
(scalance)# ip-address 192.0.2.0 255.255.255.0 192.0.2.3 192.0.2.2 example.com
