Command/Parameter
Description
cipher-suite {clear| wpa-tkip-
psk| wpa2-ccmp-psk}
Configures encryption settings. You can specify the follow-
ing types of encryption:
• clear —To clear a cipher suite wpa-tkip-psk —To use
WPA with TKIP encryption along with PSK
• wpa2-ccmp-psk—To use WPA2 with Counter Cipher
Mode with Block CCMP, an AES-based encryption
mode with strong security.
wpa-passphrase <WPA-key>
Defines a WPA passphrase with which a PSK can be gen-
erated.
The passphrase must be between 8 and 64 characters.
uplink-band <band>
Configures the band for uplink connection. The valid options
are 802.11a and 802.11g.

Usage Guidelines
Use this command to configure Wi-Fi uplink for a client station connected to an AP
Example
The following commands configure the Wi-Fi uplink profile:
