4.7 Switching on the server
V CAUTION!
●
Before switching on the server, make sure the top/side cover is
closed. In order to comply with applicable EMC regulations
(regulations on electromagnetic compatibility) and satisfy cooling
requirements, the server must not run while the top/side cover is
removed.
●
After connecting the server to the mains, it will take about 60 seconds
until the server will switch into standby mode.
●
Follow the safety instructions in chapter "Important information" on
page 43.

Press the On/Off button to start up the server.
Ê
Ensure that the power-on indicator above the On/Off button is lit green.
