Secure the ultraslim ODD to the ultraslim ODD adapter with two screws (see
circles).
Ê
Connect the power cable C23 and the SATA cable C11 to the ultraslim ODD
(see figure 315).
12.7.1.3 Installing the ultraslim ODD adapter

Install the ultraslim ODD adapter as described in section "Installing an
accessible drive" on page 398.
Ê
Connect the power cable C23 from the ultraslim ODD to a free connector of
the power cable C8 (see section "Cabling plans" on page 512).
Ê
If applicable, connect the SATA cable C11 from the ultraslim ODD to the
system board connector SATA 5. The routing is the same as for standard
ODD (see figure 294 and section "Cabling plans" on page 512).
