At a slight angle, fit the new SAS backplane into the corresponding recesses
in the HDD cage (see circles).
Ê
Fold down the SAS backplane.
Ê
Fasten the SAS backplane with four or two screws (see figure 108).

Connect the power cable to the SAS backplane (1).
Ê
If applicable, connect the OOB cable to the SAS backplane (2).
