Vessel segment length accuracy is specied f
or distances up to 50 mm between user-dened markers
on an unforeshortened view of a vessel placed in the isocenter, using automac calibraon.
NOTE Using an inaccurate calibraon factor (due to, for example, foreshortening, inaccurate
posion of the calibraon object, or calibraon on a small diameter catheter) may lead to
addional errors in measured lengths and diameters.

10.6 LVA / RVA
The L
VA and RVA applicaons have similar tasks, and they are described together in the following
secons.
Addional steps that are required for Biplane LVA and Biplane RVA are indicated where appropriate.
Le Ventricle Analysis (LVA)
You use LVA to establish end diastolic (ED) and end systolic (ES) contours of the le ventricle, to
determine ventricular volumes and wall moon. You can create, store and print reports of the analysis.
