You can customize the system’s funconality and conguraon to suit the way you want to use it.
You can view or congure the following sengs without a system administrator account.
System and licence informaon including hospital and department names
Date and me sengs
Physician list
FlexSpot presets and preset groups
FlexVision presets and preset groups
Automac posion control sengs
X-ray protocols
Viewing, processing and display preferences
Annotaons
Quantave analysis sengs
Print sengs
NOTE Before you make changes to system customizaon sengs, you should consider exporng
the exisng sengs so you can import them later if you need to. Sengs can only be
imported or exported by a system administrator.
12.1 Changing Your Password
It is important to ensure your password remains private at all mes and it is good pracce to change
your password regularly.
You can change your password at any me when logged into the system. If you forget your password,
your system administrator can reset it for you. For more informaon about reseng a password, see
Reseng a User's Password (page 231).
To change your own password, ensure you are logged into the system and do the following:
1 In the review window, click System and select Change Password.
A dialog box is displayed requesng you to enter your old password and to set your new password.
2 Check the User Name displayed is correct.
If the User Name displayed is not yours, you must log out of the system and log in using your own
user name and password.
3 Enter your Old Password.
4 Enter your New Password.
You must follow these rules when seng a password:
The password eld cannot be empty.
Passwords cannot contain user names.
Passwords must conform to the password policy sengs (see Managing Users and System
Logon (page 230)).
If password complexity is enabled, passwords must contain characters from three of the
following categories:
Uppercase leers
Lower case leers
Numbers (0 through 9)
Non-alphabec characters (for example: ! $ # %)
