14.13 Showing the Monitor Test Image
To assist with maintenance, you can make the system display the Society of Moon Pictures and
Television Engineers (SMPTE) test image.
When the test image is displayed, you cannot use the system.
1 Ensure that the service applicaon is not in use and that a remote assistance session is not being
performed.
2 Click System in the review window and select Show Monitor Test Image.
A dialog box is displayed, requesng you to conrm that you want to display the test image.
3 Do one of the following:
• To close the dialog box without displaying the test image, click No.
• To display the test image, click Yes.
4 To stop displaying the image and restore the system to normal use, press any key or mouse buon.
14.14 XperCT Calibraon
NOTE The following procedure is fully automated. You do not need to enable or disable X-ray.
Interact with the system when instructed to do so by the system.
1 On the touch screen module, tap Tools.
2 In the Tools menu, tap Xper-CT Calibraon.
3 In the Xper-CT Calibraon submenu, tap one of the following opons, and then follow the guidance
on the touch screen module:
• Detector Prop
• Detector Roll
• Detector Prop + Roll
4 (FlexMove only) On the control module, use the Move Beam XY Motorized joysck to posion the
stand in the transverse zero posion.
You can also do this by selecng a procedure in which the stand moves automacally to the
transversal zero posion.
5 Press and hold the acquision hand switch or foot switch.
The system performs the calibraon procedure.
6 Release the acquision hand switch or foot switch when the system indicates that the calibraon
procedure is nished.
7 To stop the calibraon procedure while it is in progress, tap Abort.
8 Tap Close to return to the Tools menu.
14.14.1 Pre-Scan Calibraon
When you select an head procedure with XperCT, a pop-up message informs you to run the pre-scan
calibraon procedure for beer image quality. The pop-up message will not be displayed for the next
hour.
