6 Press the exposure hand or foot switch to start acquision and if you are using a two-switch
method, press the injector switch to start contrast medium injecon.
A mer bar represenng the X-ray delay count-down in seconds is displayed in the middle of the
acquision window. When the count-down is completed, X-ray acquision starts automacally.

7 Release the hand or foot switch to stop acquision and contrast medium injecon.
6.12 Mulphase Acquision
Mulphase acquision is used for vascular applicaons only.
During mulphase acquision, you have direct control over the acquision speed and duraon. The
acquision is separated into a maximum of three phases and is used when a constant frame rate is not
needed throughout the duraon of the exposure.
You can adjust the duraon of each phase in seconds and the image speed in frames per second. You
may also switch between the second and third phases, if you want to slow the frame rate down or
speed it up during long acquision runs.
Mulphase acquision is usually enabled automacally for the appropriate X-ray protocols. This is
congured when the system is installed.
NOTE The image speed (frame rate) is limited by the image speed chosen in the Mulphase Acq.

1 Select the X-ray Sengs task in the acquision window or on the touch screen module.
2 Select the desired procedure.
3 Start acquision.
When X-ray is acve, the controls to adjust the image speed and phase duraon are not displayed.
These are replaced by a phase buon, displaying the selected image speed for each phase.
4 To move between phases and change the image speed, tap the desired phase buon.
Images are acquired at the new image speed shown for the selected phase.
You can only switch to a phase if the relevant phase buon is enabled.
6.12.1 Changing Mulphase Acquision Sengs
1 Select the X-ray Sengs task on the touch screen module.
2 On the touch screen module, tap Mulphase Acq. to display the mulphase acquision sengs
screen.
3 Set the image speed (frame rate) in frames per second, for each phase:
• Tap + to increase the image speed.
• Tap - to decrease the image speed.
4 Set the duraon of each phase.
