Paent Type
Although the system has an automac dose control mechanism that compensates for the various
depths of irradiated ssue, in some cases the image quality needs to be improved for very obese or
very thin paents. This is achieved by the system by removing or adding spectral ltering.
The paent type selecon may have an eect on the resulng reference air kerma. For opmal image
quality, you should select a paent type that matches the actual paent thickness. You can change the
paent type by eding the scheduled study. For more informaon about eding study details, see
Eding a Scheduled Study (page 51).
You can select one of the following paent types:
