Paent Type
Although the system has an automac dose control mechanism that compensates for the various
depths of irradiated ssue, in some cases the image quality needs to be improved for very obese or
very thin paents. This is achieved by the system by removing or adding spectral ltering.
The paent type selecon may have an eect on the resulng reference air kerma. For opmal image
quality, you should select a paent type that matches the actual paent thickness. You can change the
paent type by eding the scheduled study. For more informaon about eding study details, see
Eding a Scheduled Study (page 51).
