NOTE You can start Bolus Chase R
econstrucon manually in the control room for a paent other
than the acquision paent by opening a previously acquired bolus chase run in the paent
database. To start the applicaon, click More Tools and then click Bolus Chase
Reconstrucon.
NOTE Reconstrucons are saved automacally.
Reviewing the Reconstrucon
Aer automac reconstrucon of the bolus chase run, an overview image is displayed alongside the
original acquision images.
NOTE The reconstructed image is only for overview and navigaon. It is not intended for diagnosc
purposes. Clinical conclusions should be based on and veried using the original images.
The Reconstrucon task is opened, providing a control panel containing tools for managing
reconstrucons.
1 Review the overview image and the original images to verify whether the complete peripheral
artery is visible, or if any occlusions are present.
Use the overview image as a reference when navigang through the original images.
2 To view the original image corresponding to a parcular point in the overview image, click the point
in the overview image.
A line is displayed in the overview image as a marker, and the corresponding original image is
displayed in the main view. You can drag the marker line to adjust its posion.
3 To view the original images in the series or to review the series as a movie, use the navigaon
toolbar at the boom of the main view.
The navigaon toolbar provides the following controls:
Control Funcon
Play Plays the original images as a movie
Stop Stops movie playback
Next image Displays original images sequenally f
orward through the run
Previous image Displays original images sequenally backw
ard through the run
You can also control image na
vigaon using the following acons:
• Double-click in the main view to start and stop movie playback.
• With movie playback stopped, rotate the wheel buon down to view the next image, or rotate
the wheel buon up to view the previous image.
The following funcons are not available when reviewing the series as a movie:
• Annotaons
• Measurements
• Snapshots
• Prinng
