With a system administrator account, you can customize many aspects of the system's funconality to
suit the way the system is used in your hospital.
To change the following sengs you must have a system administrator user account.
Regional sengs
Audit trail
Users and logon requirements
Paent Administraon, including storage devices
RIS code mapping / ProcedureCard mapping
DICOM conguraon
Export protocols
Automac data transfer
ProcedureCards
Imporng and exporng sengs
NOTE Before you make changes to system customizaon sengs, you should consider exporng
the exisng sengs so you can import them later if you need to. For more informaon, see
Exporng Sengs (page 249).
13.1 Changing Regional Sengs
You can change the language used in the system, and the way measurements, numbers, and mings
are displayed, to suit your local preferences.
The system user interface supports several languages and you can change the language in use. The
Instrucons for Use within the system can also be viewed in dierent languages.
NOTE You can view the Instrucons for Use in a dierent language than that used for the user
interface since the Instrucons for Use are available in a larger number of languages than
the user interface supports.
1 On the System menu, click Customizaon to display the System Customizaon window.
2 In the General sengs group, click Regional Sengs .
3 To change the system user interface language, select the desired Language.
4 To change the language you use to provide inputs and the associated keyboard layout, select the
desired Input Language and Keyboard.
5 To change the Instrucons for Use language, select the desired Instrucons for Use Language.
6 Select the desired Decimal Symbol to use from the drop-down list.
7 Select the Digit Grouping Symbol to use from the drop-down list.
8 Select the Measurement System to use from the drop-down list.
9 Select the format used to display uoroscopy mings from the Fluoro Time Display Format drop-
down list.
10 Select the units used to display detector size from the Detector Size Display Unit drop-down list.
11 To undo any changes you have made, click Undo Changes.
