If the foot switch is ed with a s
terile cover, do not t the cover too ghtly. This is to ensure that when
one pedal is pressed the cover does not acvate other pedals.
Spillage of Liquids
Prevent spillage of liquids, which may bring live parts of the equipment into contact with conducve
enclosures or direct contact with the operator, other personnel, or the paent.
5.9.2 Posioning the C-arm
You posion the C-arm in the working posion using the control module.
The following working posions are available:
Head side
Doctor side
Nurse side
Rotaon and angulaon movements are motorized with variable speed. The greater the deecon of
the switch on the control module, the faster the C-arm moves. For normal operaon these speeds are 0
- 25 degrees per second (lower maximum speeds can be congured by technical support). If the stand
is not in its working range the maximum speeds are reduced to 8 degrees per second.
The direcon of movement is aected by the posion of the Orientaon switch on the underside of the
control module. For more informaon, see Selecng the Tableside Posion for the Control
Module (page 59).
The following procedure assumes the control module is posioned at the doctor side of the table.
Check the table lock status, and lock or unlock the table as appropriate during the procedure. For more
informaon, see Locking and Unlocking C‐arm and Table Movements (page 90).
