Pedestal Conguraon
In the pedestal conguraon, the enre injector is located in the examinaon room except for an
oponal injector display unit in the control room. The injector is placed on a movable pedestal and can
be easily connected and disconnected from the X-ray system using a Burndy connector. The Burndy
connector is located at the rear interface panel at the table base (item [1] in the illustraon).
If you are using an OR table, the rear interface panel at the table base cannot be used. Instead, a
surgery wall connecon box is provided in the examinaon room, but at a greater distance from the
table.
Non-Pedestal Conguraon
In the non-pedestal conguraon, only the injector head and injector display unit are located in the
examinaon room. The injector base unit is located in the technical room. An addional injector display
unit can also be located in the control room. Injector connecon [2] is used in this conguraon.
11.2.3 Connecng Video Feeds
There are several possibilies for connecng third-party devices to the Philips intervenonal X-ray
system to display video feeds.
Video feeds from third-party devices can be shown on the following:
• FlexVision or a dedicated Philips monitor.
• A third-party monitor, powered by the third-party system, but integrated within the monitor ceiling
suspension.
• Switchable monitors using the MulSwitch opon.
• Control room monitors
Video feeds from the Philips intervenonal X-ray system can be displayed on third-party monitors.
NOTE Philips cannot guarantee the image quality or c
oordinaon of video feeds displayed on third-
party monitors.
