5.10 Using an OR Table

ou can use an OR table with the Azurion X-ray system. The level of integraon depends on the OR
table used, and available funcons are described in this secon.
The Azurion X-ray system is compable with OR tables from the following manufacturers:
• Maquet
• Trumpf
For more informaon, see Compability (page 16).
Tableside Modules
Tableside modules can be mounted on the OR table. During paent transfer to or from the table, the
tableside modules can be parked on a pedestal (opon) in the examinaon room.
Geometry Set-Up and BodyGuard
When using an OR table, the following funcons are not available:
• Automac stop at work posions 1 or 2 during motorized longitudinal movement of the stand
• BodyGuard O Below Table (oponal funcon)
When using a Maquet operang table, the automac bodyguard override (ABO) funcon is available.
When an object is sensed, this funcon allows stand movements and lateral or longitudinal movements
of the table to connue at a safe speed.
Collision Detecon
WARNING
When mo
ving the table, take care to avoid collisions with the stand.
The intelligent collision pr
otecon (ICP) funcon prevents collisions between the stand and the OR
table base.
When a collision is detected, the following acons are performed:
• All table movements are stopped.
• A user message is displayed, and an acousc signal sounds.
Normal movement is restored when the collision is resolved.
NOTE When the stand is posioned away from the stored posion, the L-arm starts to rotate when
using the Recall APC funcon, and the C-arm can hit the tabletop during rotaon movement
of the L-arm.
NOTE If the X-ray system is switched o, the collision detecon system will not funcon when table
movement is controlled with the OR table controls.

The following accessories can be used with an OR table.
• Philips radiolucent arm support (not available with the Trumpf OR table)
• Peripheral X-ray lters
• Pulse cath arm support
• Accessory bracket for ceiling suspended radiaon shield
• Ceiling suspended radiaon shield
• Cerebral lter
• Neuro wedge
