NOTE Addional ac
cessories may be available from the manufacturer of the OR table. However,
these accessories have not been tested for use with the Azurion X-ray system. Refer to the
informaon provided by the manufacturer.
Parking the Stand
If the oponal ceiling rail extension is installed, you can park the stand so that it is out of the way of the
table. The oponal ceiling rail extension is available at the head end or at the foot end.
5.10.1 Maquet Operang Table
The Maquet operang table consists of the operang table column and tabletop. The tabletop is
available in the following conguraons:
Universal tabletop: Suitable for a range of surgery applicaons, using a base plate and addional
jointed modules to allow paent posioning.
Radiolucent tabletop: Suitable for intervenonal procedures and minimally invasive operaons.
NOTE Do not use straps from Philips to secure the paent during movements. Refer to the Maquet
documentaon for details of how to secure the paent.
Startup and Shutdown
Startup and shutdown of the Maquet operang table is managed by the X-ray system. It is not
necessary to power it on or o.
Paent Transfer
During paent transfer, the X-ray system may be switched on or o. If the X-ray system is switched on,
table movement funcons on the control module of the X-ray system are locked.
Paent Orientaon
The Maquet operang table features a blue dot on the table base. When the upper part of the paent's
body is on the same side as the blue dot, the paent orientaon for the Maquet operang table is
Normal (X-ray system: Legs Down). Otherwise, the paent orientaon is Reversed (X-ray system: Legs
Up).
Paent orientaon funcons on each system are linked; when the paent orientaon is changed on the
Maquet operang table, the paent orientaon indicaon of Legs Down or Legs Up on the X-ray system
is updated (the indicaon of Nose Up or Nose Down is not updated). The displayed rotaon angle and
angulaon angle are also updated.
Operaon Modes
A subset of table funcons is available using the control module of the X-ray system.
