Image format, size and quality
When automac exports occur
What images are automacally exported
1 On the System menu, click Customizaon to display the System Customizaon window.
2 In the General sengs group, click Export Protocols.
3 To change the default protocol:
a Select the desired protocol in the list.
b Click Set as Default.
4 To add a new protocol:
a Click New.
A new protocol is added to the list with the name New export protocol.
b Select the new export protocol in the list.
c Edit the Export Protocol Details.
The following sengs are recommended:

Processing Format Processed (R
ecommended) Default opon. Image processing is applied to the image
before export.
Unprocessed The image is not processed. Processing parameters are de-
scribed in private DICOM aributes (only IntelliSpace Portal
can handle this correctly).
Select Unprocessed only for export to IntelliSpace Portal or
to a workstaon where measurements are performed on
image data (for example, quantave analysis).
Image Size Do Not Downscale (Recom-
mended for vascular im-
ages)

. This has no impact on car-
dio images.

. The le size is reduced.
Image Quality Normal 8 bits/pixel The le size is reduced.

The le size is twice as large as Normal image quality.

ve to save the new protocol details.
5 To add a new protocol based on an exisng protocol:
a Select the desired protocol in the list.
b Click Copy the selected export protocol.
c Edit the Export Protocol Details.
