The following table describes the nonconfigurable fields that display on the page.
Download Host Keys
You can download an SSH-1 RSA, SSH-2 RSA, or SSH-2 DSA key file from a remote system
to the device.
To download host keys:
1. Launch a web browser.
2. In the address field of your web browser, enter the IP address of the switch.
The login window opens.
3. Enter the user name and password.
The default admin user name is
admin and the default admin password is blank, that is,
do not enter a password.
4. Click the Login button.
The System Information page displays.
5. Select Security >
Access > SSH > Host Keys Download.
6. In the
File Type list, select the type of file to transfer:
• SSH-1 RSA Key File
. SSH-1 Rivest-Shamir-Adelman (RSA) key file
• SSH-2 RSA Key PEM File. SSH-2 Rivest-Shamir-Adelman (RSA) key file (PEM
Encoded)

Field Description
Keys Present Displays which of the following keys or both (if any) are present on the
device:
• SSH-1 Rivest-Shamir-Adelman (RSA) key file or SSH-2 RSA key
file (PEM Encoded)
• SSH-2 Digital Signature
Algorithm (DSA) key file (PEM Encoded)
Key Generation In Progress Displays which key is being generated (if any), RSA, DSA, or None.
