The following table describes the nonconfigurable information that is displayed.
Configure Denial of Service Settings
To configure Denial of Service settings:
1. Launch a web browser.
2. In the address field of your web browser, enter the IP address of the switch.
The login window opens.
3. Enter the user name and password.
The default admin user name is
admin and the default admin password is blank, that is,
do not enter a password.
4. Click the Login button.
The System Information page displays.
5. Select Security >
Access > Denial of Service Configuration.

Field Description
Character Size (bits) The number of bits in a character. This is always 8.
Flow Control Whether hardware flow control is enabled or disabled. It is always
disabled.
Stop Bits The number of stop bits per character. It is always 1.
Parity The parity method used on the serial port. It is always None.
