4.4 Advanced LCD Interface
The Advanced LCD Interface (ALI) provides the additional processing required to inter-
face the LH79524 and LH79525 to AD-TFT, HR-TFT, or any display technology that
uses this method of connection. Figure 4-5 shows the ALI between the CLCDC and the
LCD output pins.
The ALI is programmed via its16-bit APB interface and receives control signals and display
data from the CLCDC. The ALI converts the display data to a format suitable for direct con-
nection to the Row and Column driver ICs in AD-TFT, HR-TFT displays, or any display
using similar technology.
