6 ND RA-INTERVAL
ipv6 nd ra-interval
Overview Use this command to specify the interval between IPv6 Router Advertisements
(RA) transmissions.
Use no parameter with this command to reset the value to the default value (600
seconds).
Syntax
ipv6 nd ra-interval <seconds>
no ipv6 nd ra-interval
Default 600 seconds.
Mode Interface Configuration for a VLAN interface.
Usage Advertisement flags will not be transmitted unless you have applied the ipv6 nd
suppress-ra command as shown in the example below.
Example To set the advertisements interval on the VLAN interface vlan4 to be 60 seconds,
use the following commands:
awplus# configure terminal
awplus(config)# interface vlan4
awplus(config-if)# ipv6 nd ra-interval 60
awplus(config-if)# no ipv6 nd suppress-ra

Parameter Description
<seconds>
Specifies the number of seconds between IPv6 Router
Advertisements (RAs). Valid values are from 4 to 1800 seconds.
