IOT DEVICE MANAGEMENT
IPC Devices
The UCM admin can add IPC devices and edit accessible extensions so these extensions can view the
surveillance streams for the IPC devices.
Click on “Add” to add IPC device.

Edit the IPC device settings in the table below.

General
Device Number
Configure the number for the IPC device. Please enter number only.
Device Name
Configure the name for the IPC device.
Protocol
Configure the protocol used for the IPC device.
IP Address
Configure the IP address for the IPC device. For example, 192.168.1.108.
Port
Configure the port number for the iPC device. The default port is 554.
Username
Configure the username of the IPC device. This is from the IPC device and it’s
used for UCM to access IPC device. This option is optional and it’s needed
when the username/password is configured on the IPC device.
