A.6 Context-sensitive Menu for Quick Access
The R&S SMW offers a context-sensitive menu to all parameters or interactive ele-
ments on the user interface:
To access this menu, touch and hold an element.
The context-sensitive menus provide extended and new functionality.
The context-sensitive menus are tailored to the particular parameter.
The following figure is an example of the one provided for a numeric value.
Refer to Chapter 2.5.4, "Accessing the Functionality", on page 113 for more informa-
tion.
A.7 Improved and New Introduced Features
Concerning the baseband signal generation and the digital standards, the R&S SMU
and R&S SMW support nearly the same feature set. Consider the following main differ-
ences:
External clock signal
The R&S SMU supports only one external baseband clock signal.
The R&S SMW supports two baseband clocks, one per "Baseband A/C" and
"Baseband B/D".
Per default, the external clock signals are available at the T/M/C connectors
respectively (see Table A-1).
