RF signal output modes:
●
Fixed
The RF signal as it is, that means modulated or unmodulated.
●
Sweep
An RF frequency or RF level sweep signal.
Either continuously processed, step-by-step or individually, with various selectable
trigger modes (external, internal or automatic). Note, that you cannot simultane-
ously run several sweeps.
Find details of sweeps in Chapter 7.6, "Varying the RF Signal in List or Sweep
Mode", on page 457.
●
List Mode
Generates the RF signal based on a list of predefined frequency / level values
pairs and step widths.
See Chapter 7.6, "Varying the RF Signal in List or Sweep Mode", on page 457 for
detailed information.
7.1 How to Access the Functions in the RF Domain?
Access:
► Select the config button in the corresponding "RF x" block and then the desired
function in the RF menu list.
The RF block comprises all functions and settings concerning the RF signal. These
include the RF frequency and level settings with all enhanced functions for improv-
ing the signal characteristics, the analog modulations, list and sweep mode set-
tings as well as connector assignments and measurement functions of the RF sig-
nal.
The following overview provides information on where to find the descriptions of all
functions accessed via the RF block menu in successive order.
