Display
Filters the displayed connectors upon one of the following criteria:
"All Connectors"
No filter is applied.
"Mapped Connectors"
Displayed are only the connectors to which a stream is mapped (see
"Map Stream X to Connector" on page 146).
Note: To prevent faults, use this filter before you further configure the
external instruments.
"Input Connectors/Output Connectors"
Filters the display according to connector direction.

Auto Connect
With enabled auto connect function, the instrument automatically detects connected
external instruments and establishes the required connection.
If the "Auto Connect > Off", however, after a R&S SMW startup you have to revise the
test setup and perform the following:
●
Check whether the necessary connections between the R&S SMW and the exter-
nal instruments are still existing.
●
Prove that the remote control of the particular instruments is required.
●
Trigger the Connect All Remote function.

Connect/Disconnect All Remote
Triggers the instrument to:
●
Establish the remote connections to all configured External Instrument
●
To terminate all existing remote connections.
The external instruments are not removed from the list of external instruments.
Only the remote connection status changes.
