"Auto"
This mode is suitable for measurements with short "Sweep Time" and
if several measurements are running simultaneously.
The measurement results are retrieved and updated contentiously.
"Single"
This mode is suitable for measurements with longer measurement
time ("Duration").
See also Chapter 8.2.4, "How to Query Information on the Baseband
Power Levels", on page 597.
Remote command:
[:SOURce]:BB:MEASurement:POWer:RMODe on page 1021
Add, Change, Remove, Start, Abort
Standard function for measurements handling, like enabling a new measurement,
changing an existing one or starting/stopping current measurement. You can configure
and enable up to 8 measurements simultaneously, each with up to 32 submeasure-
ments.
To retrieve information on the status of an initiated measurement, observe the "Pro-
gress" indication in the BB Powers Summary List and the Running/Stopped indication.
Remote command:
[:SOURce]:BB:MEASurement:POWer:ADD on page 1021

[:SOURce]:BB:MEASurement:POWer:ABORt on page 1024
Running/Stopped
Displays the status (running/stopped) of the current measurement.
Remote command:

8.2.4 How to Query Information on the Baseband Power Levels
The examples in this section explain how to enable the baseband power measure-
ments with different acquisition methods to measure different kind of signals. The mea-
surements require a baseband signal. In these examples, we use a base unit equipped
with the firmware option R&S SMW-K54 IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n and generate a WLAN
signal with suitable frame and marker configuration.
The following tasks do not require special knowledge on the WLAN IEEE 802.11 stan-
dard; a basic understanding on working with the option is however a prerequisite.
