3. Activate the "Screen Saver".
4. Define the "Wait Time" in minutes.
The instrument turns off the display after the defined period of time.
5. To reactivate the display, tap the screen or press any key on the front panel.
To deactivate the screen saver
1. Press the SETUP key.
2. Select "User Interface > Display"
3. Disable the "Screen Saver" state.
2.1.5.4 Adjusting Appearance of the User Interface
You can adjust the transparency of the opened dialogs.
1. Press the SETUP key.
2. Select "User Interface > Appearance".
3. If necessary, enable "Alpha Settings (inactive dialogs)"
The dialog closes and the changes take effect immediately.
2.1.5.5 Calibrating the Touchscreen
When the instrument is delivered, the touchscreen is initially calibrated. However, if an
instrument is mounted on the topmost or on the bottommost shell in a rack, a parallax
error can occur. See also "Mounting in a rack" on page 40.
To calibrate the touchscreen for preventing a parallax error
1. Press the SETUP key.
2. Select the "Maintenance > Check Front Panel"
The "Check Front Panel" opens.
