configure snmp syscontact <sysContact>
Description
Configures the name of the system contact.

Usage Guidelines
The system contact is a text field that enables you to enter the name of the person(s) responsible for
managing the switch. A maximum of 255 characters is allowed.
To view the name of the system contact listed on the switch, use the
show switch command. The show
switch
command displays switch statistics including the name of the system contact.
Example
The following command defines FredJ as the system contact:
configure snmp syscontact fredj
The following output from the show switch command displays FredJ as the system contact:
SysName: engineeringlab
SysLocation: englab
SysContact: FredJ
History
This command was first available in ExtremeWare XOS 10.1.
Platform Availability
This command is available on all platforms.
sysContact An alphanumeric string that specifies a system contact name.
