configure lldp transmit-delay
configure lldp transmit-delay [ auto | <seconds>]
Description
Configures the delay time between successive frame transmissions initiated by a value change or status
change in any of the LLDP local systems Management Information Base (MIB). The
auto option uses a
formula (0.25 * transmit-interval) to calculate the number of seconds.
Syntax Description
Default
2 seconds.
Usage Guidelines
This is the timer between triggered updates.
Example
The following command configures the delay between LLDP frame transmissions for triggered updates
to be automatically calculated:
configure lldp transmit-delay auto
History
This command was first available in ExtremeWare XOS 11.2.
Platform Availability
This command is available on all platforms.
auto Uses the formula (0.25 * transmit-interval) to calculate the seconds.
seconds Specifies the interval at which LLDP notifications are sent. The range is 1 to
8291.
