enable dot1p examination ports [<port_list> | all]
Description
Allows the 802.1p priority field to be examined as part of the QoS configuration.

Enabled.
Usage Guidelines
To increase available ACLs, you can disable the 802.1p examination feature if you are not running QoS
or are running QoS using DiffServ. See ExtremeWare XOS Concepts Guide for information on ACL
limitations on these platforms.
Use this command to re-enable the 802.1p examination feature.
Example
The following command enables dot1p examination on ports 1 to 5:
enable dot1p examination ports 1-5
History
This command was available in ExtremeWare XOS 11.4.
Platform Availability
This command is available only on the BlackDiamond 8800 series switch and the Summit X450 family of
switches.
port_list Specifies a list of ports or slots and ports.
all Specifies that dot1p examination should be enabled for all ports.
