enable port
enable port [<port_list> | all]
Description
Enables a port.
Syntax Description
Default
All ports are enabled.
Usage Guidelines
Use this command to enable the port(s) if you disabled the port(s) for security, administration, or
troubleshooting purposes.
Example
The following command enables ports 3, 5, and 12 through 15 on the stand-alone switch:
enable ports 3,5,12-15
The following command enables slot 1, ports 3, 5, and 12 through 15 on the modular switch:
enable port 1:3, 1:5, 1:12-1:15

This command was first available in ExtremeWare XOS 10.1.
Platform Availability
This command is available on all platforms.
port_list Specifies one or more ports or slots and ports.
all Specifies all ports on the switch.
