configure svlan add ports
configure svlan <svlan-name> add ports <port_list> {tagged | untagged}
Description
Adds ports to the specified SVLAN; ports may be tagged or untagged.
Syntax Description
Default
Untagged.
Usage Guidelines
The ports in the SVLAN may be tagged or untagged.
You cannot configure Connectivity Fault Management (CFM) on ports added to the SVLAN, or apply
any other ACLs.
Example
The following command assigns port 1:5 as a tagged port to the SVLAN white:
configure svlan white add ports 1:5 tagged
History
This command was first available in ExtremeWare XOS 11.4.
Platform Availability
This command is available only on the BlackDiamond 10808 and 12804 switch.
svlan-name Enter the name of the SVLAN you are adding ports to.
port_list Specify the ports you want to add to the SVLAN.
tagged Add this parameter if you to add the port to the specified SVLAN as a tagged
port.
untagged Add this parameter to add untagged ports to the specified SVLAN. This is the
default value; if you do not specify, the ports are added untagged.
