"A Internal & B RF Off"
If the selected RF frequency exceeds the maximum frequency of path
B (see the installed frequency options), this setting uses the internal
local oscillator signal of path A. In addition, it enables you to route this
LO signal to the LO OUT connector. Thus you can use it as input for
a downstream instrument.
The RF OUT of path B is switched off in this case.
"A External & B RF Off"
If the selected RF frequency exceeds the maximum frequency of path
B, this setting uses the LO input signal for path A. You can route the
signal to the LO OUT connector and use it as input for a downstream
instrument.
The RF output of path B is switched off in this case.
"A RF Off & B External"
If the selected RF frequency exceeds the maximum frequency of path
A, this setting uses the LO input signal for path B. You can route the
signal to the LO OUT connector use it as LO input for a downstream
instrument.
The RF output of path A is switched off in this case.
"Internal"
Uses the internal signal. This selection parameter applies to one path
instruments.
"External"
Uses an externally supplied signal. This selection parameter applies
to one path instruments.
Remote command:
[:SOURce<hw>]:FREQuency:LOSCillator:MODE on page 1040
Out State
Activates or deactivates the LO output.
"B On / On"
Note: Selection "B On" applies to two-path instruments, and "On" to
one-path instruments, respectively.
The internal local oscillator signal is also available at the LO OUT
connector (to couple two instruments).
"Off"
The LO output signal is switched off.
Remote command:
[:SOURce<hw>]:FREQuency:LOSCillator:OUTPut:STATe on page 1041
Mandatory LO IN Frequency
Displays the frequency that must be applied as external LO frequency.
Remote command:
[:SOURce<hw>]:FREQuency:LOSCillator:INPut:FREQuency? on page 1040
LO OUT Frequency
Displays the current LO frequency at the LO OUT connector.
Remote command:
[:SOURce<hw>]:FREQuency:LOSCillator:OUTPut:FREQuency? on page 1041
