The block diagram shows an icon Δf on the corresponding signal path to indicate
an applied frequency offset.
Settings:
Frequency Offset.........................................................................................................386
Phase Offset............................................................................................................... 386
Gain.............................................................................................................................387
Frequency Offset
Enters the frequency offset for the internal or external baseband signal and shifts the
useful baseband signal in the center frequency.
See:
Chapter 4.12.1.1, "Impact of the Frequency Offset", on page 383 for detailed infor-
mation on the calculation of the frequency offset value range
Chapter 4.12.3, "How to Improve Signal Characteristics by Shifting the Wanted
Baseband Signal", on page 387
Note: A frequency offset cannot be applied to external or internal signals with sample
rates of exactly 100 MHz. The digital signal is fed into the signal path directly and not
routed to the resampler where the frequency offset is performed.
Remote command:
[:SOURce<hw>]:BB:FOFFset on page 887
[:SOURce<hw>]:BBIN:FOFFset on page 887
Phase Offset
Enters the phase offset for the baseband signal of the selected baseband block com-
pared to the other baseband signals (see Chapter 4.12.1.2, "Impact of the Phase Off-
set", on page 384).
The phase offset affects the signal on the "Baseband block" output.
Remote command:
[:SOURce<hw>]:BB:POFFset on page 887
