14.3.3.6 set macauthentication portinitialize
Use this command to force one or more MAC authentication ports to re-initialize and remove any
currently active sessions on those ports.
set macauthentication portinitialize [port-string]
Syntax Description
Command Type
Switch command.
Command Mode
Read-Write.
Command Defaults
If port-string is not specified, all MAC authentication ports will be initialized.
Example
This example shows how to force Fast Ethernet front panel ports 1 through 5 to initialize:
14.3.3.7 set macauthentication macinitialize
Use this command to force a current MAC authentication session to re-initialize and remove the
session.
set macauthentication macinitialize mac_addr
Syntax Description
Command Type
Switch command.
Command Mode
Read-Write.
port-string (Optional) Re-initializes specific MAC authentication
port(s). For a detailed description of possible port-string
values, refer to Section 4.1.2.
Matrix>set macauthentication portinitialize fe.0.1-5
mac_addr Specifies the MAC address of the session to re-initialize.
