"Single / Extern Single"
Generates a single sweep cycle after a trigger event.
The sweep steps within the cycle are performed automatically, con-
trolled by the dwell time. If one cycle is completed, the instrument
waits for the next trigger event.
"Step / Extern Step"
Generates the sweep signal step-by-step, manually triggered.
"Extern Start/Stop"
Generates a continuously repeating sweep signal that is started,
stopped, and restarted by subsequent external trigger events.
The sweep steps are performed automatically, controlled by the dwell
time.

Specific Sweep Parameters
The sweep parameters described in this topic are only available for particular emula-
tion languages.

Generator
Mode ← Specific Sweep Parameters
Selects the RF frequency sweep mode.
("Auto" = timer controlled, "Manual" = manually controlled)
Repeat ← Specific Sweep Parameters
Sets the repetition mode.
("On" = continuously; "Off" = once)
Start Trigger ← Specific Sweep Parameters
Selects the mode to initiate a sweep.
("Auto" = starts immediately; "Single" = starts with a command (Bus); "External" =
starts with an external trigger signal)
Point Trigger ← Specific Sweep Parameters
Selects the mode to trigger the progress of each step.
("Auto" = immediately; "Single" = remotely (Bus); "External" = external signal)
Execute Single Sweep
In "Mode = Single", starts a sweep manually.
