5.4 GPZ-2BRIA (2 Basic Rate Interface Daughter Board)
5.4.1 Description
This daughter board provides two BRI circuits and is installed on the
GCD-2BRIA blade. This board provides:
Two (GCD-2BRIA) 2-Channel Circuits (2B + D) configured as T-Bus
64Kb/s Clear B-Channel and 16Kb/s D-Channel
Connection point for GCD-2BRIA
Connection point for GCD-LTA
These trunk circuits can be connected to ISDN trunks or ISDN telephones,
depending on the switch setting in system programming. All ISDN
telephone circuits [#1-2 (BRI blade) and #3-4 (with the BRI daughter board)]
are supplied DC power from the UNIVERGE SV9100 system.
System programming must be used to block new calls on the blade. This
program prevents new calls from being established on the blade, but does
not terminate any existing call.
