7. Using the USB cable provided, connect the USB interface of the NEC VSR
unit to an available USB port on your PC.
8. Unplug the line cord from your telephone and connect the phone to either
port on the D

VSR unit.
9. Connect the NEC telephone system to the remaining port on the D
term
VSR
unit (refer to Figure 9-34 Voice Security Recorder Connection on page
9-42).
11.3.1 VSR Application Software
The VSR software is delivered on a Compact Disk using a self-starting
install shield. The CD contains all applicable files and installation
procedures to operate to this specification, including USB device drivers,
software application, and Help files.
A quick-start instruction sheet and a recorded user guide that steps the user
through the various options are provided.
