Presite assumptions
Before you go on site, you must:
● Complete the Presite checklist on page 1037.
● Ensure that the Communication Manager software on the S8700-series Media Server is
Release 3.0 or later.
Accessing the media server maintenance web interface
To access the media server:
1. Start the Web browser.
2. In the Address field, type 192.11.13.6. Press Enter to open the login Web page.
3. Log in as craft or dadmin.
4. Select yes to suppress alarms
The system displays the Integrated Management Standard Management Solutions
Maintenance Web page.
5. Click Launch Maintenance Web Interface to go to the main menu.

Starting a SAT session
To start a SAT session:
1. Start a terminal emulation application, such as Native Configuration Manager or Microsoft
HyperTerminal or use a telnet session.
2. Type telnet 192.11.13.6 5023. Press Enter.
3. Log on as craft or dadmin.
4. Suppress alarm origination.
