Migration paths
Avaya supports the following migrations of a DEFINITY Server CSI in a CMC or a G600 Media
Gateway to the S8400 Media Server configuration:
DEFINITY Release 9 and later
To migrate, you can use the existing translations. The only supported method to move
translations from legacy systems is to:
1. Copy the translations to the compact flash.
2. Plug the Compact Flash card from the PCMCIA/Compact Flash adapter into the Compact
Flash slot on the TN8400AP Media Server circuit pack.
3. Copy the translation files from the compact flash to the S8400 Media Server.

existing DEFINITY system.
