Designating the slot for the duplicated IPSI circuit pack
Designate the slot in which each new IPSI is to be installed. Each of these circuit packs requires
an I/O adapter that is installed on the backplane connector associated with the slot in which the
circuit pack is installed.
The IPSI circuit packs must be placed in the slots specified in the “Secondary, if duplicated
control — S8700 series only” column in the following table.
