Removing the top cover from the server
To remove the top cover from the server:
1. Lift the locking tab on the top cover of the server as shown in Figure 105

Lifting the tab slides the locking tabs of the cover free of the front panel.
2. Lift the cover straight up and set it aside.
Removing the riser assembly
To remove the riser assembly:
1. Release the two thumbscrews (Note 1 in Figure 106
).
