Display information on local BGP state changes and other BGP events.

Syntax
debug ip bgp [ip-address | peer-group peer-group-name] events
[in | out]
To disable debugging, use the no debug ip bgp [ip-address | peer-group
peer-group-name] events command.
Parameters
ip-address (OPTIONAL) Enter the IP address of the neighbor in dotted
decimal format.
peer-group
peer-group-
name
(OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword peer-group then the name
of the peer group.
in (OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword in to view only events on
inbound BGP messages.
out (OPTIONAL) Enter the keyword out to view only events on
outbound BGP messages.
