neighbor peer-group (assigning peers)
Allows you to assign one peer to an existing peer group.

Syntax
neighbor ip-address peer-group peer-group-name
To delete a peer from a peer group, use the no neighbor ip-address peer-
group peer-group-name command.
Parameters
ip-address Enter the IP address of the router to be included in the peer
group.
peer-group-
name
Enter the name of a configured peer group.
Defaults Not configured.

Usage
Information
You can assign up to 256 peers to one peer group.
When you add a peer to a peer group, it inherits all the peer group’s configured
parameters. A peer cannot become part of a peer group if any of the following
commands are configured on the peer:
• neighbor advertisement-interval
• neighbor distribute-list
• neighbor route-map
• neighbor route-reflector-client
