4. Slide the CIS module assy [2] to the position shown in the illustration while
holding the belt [1].

5. Raise the CIS module [1].
6. Disconnect the flat cable connector [2], and remove the CIS module [1].
7. To reinstall, reverse the order of removal.

1. Remove the rear cover (ADF).
