2.3.8Tray open/close detection control
• The tray 1 set sensor detects a tray in the open or closed position.

2.3.9Paper misfeed detection control
• If the registration sensor is not activated within a predetermined period of time after a paper feed sequence has been started, the main
body determines that there is a paper misfeed. It then gives the message “PAPER EMPTY TRAY 2” on the panel.
• The paper misfeed display can be reset by opening and closing any of the doors.
• Paper refeeding (retry control) is not performed from tray 2 even when a paper jam is resolved.
2.3.10Paper feed tray stopper release mechanism
• The paper feed tray is equipped with a stopper mechanism.
• When paper is placed, the stopper prevents the paper feed tray from falling off from the machine even if it is slided out.
• The paper feed tray can be removed if paper is remained inside the machine at the time of handling a paper jam or a misfeed.
