8. Hold the position [1] and remove the transfer belt unit [2].
NOTE
â–ª Do not touch the surface of the transfer belt unit.
â–ª Cover the transfer belt unit with something such shade cloth to
protect its surface from dust or foreign matter.
â–ª If accidentally touched the surface of the transfer belt, lightly wipe
it using the Hydro-wipe (65AA-99##). Do not clean with alcohol or
water.
(2)Reinstall procedure
1. Insert the transfer belt unit [1] so that the left groove [2] in the tip is along the
rail [3], and the right shaft [4] on the tip is along the rail [5].
NOTE
â–ª Insert the transfer belt unit with care not to allow its docking gear
to be damaged by hitting it against the rail or associated part.
â–ª Do not touch the surface of the transfer belt unit.
â–ª If accidentally touched the surface of the transfer belt, lightly wipe
it using the Hydro-wipe (65AA-99##). Do not clean with alcohol or
water.
2. Hold up the transfer belt [1], and insert the transfer belt unit so that the
groove [2] is along the rail [3].
3. To reinstall, reverse the order of removal.
4. Carry out the [Service Mode] -> [Counter] -> [Life] -> [New Release].
5. Select [Service Mode] -> [Machine] -> [Color Registration Adjustment] to adjust the value for correcting the color shift to 0.
6. Select [Service Mode] -> [Imaging Process Adjustment] -> [Stabilizer] -> [Initialize + Image Stabilization] and perform the function.
7. Select [Service Mode] -> [Machine] -> [Main Scanning Direction Zoom] to adjust the zoom in main scanning direction.
8. Select [Service Mode] -> [Imaging Process Adjustment] -> [Stabilizer] -> [Stabilization Only] and perform the function.
9. Repeat the step 6 and 7 until the Main Scanning Direction Zoom Adjustment is met.
10. Select [Service Mode] -> [Machine] -> [Color Registration Adjustment] and perform the adjustment for correcting the color shift.
